About the Team

At Disney Experiences, technology powers the magic – seamlessly integrating the physical, digital, and virtual worlds to help our guests navigate our properties and platforms, immerse themselves into our stories, connect with those they love, and share their unforgettable experiences with the world. This leader oversees diverse, enterprise critical teams spanning portfolio management, HR/Finance transformation, technical project management, learning & development, and the vendor management office.

The Vice President, Portfolio & Strategic Enablement serves as the connective tissue across Disney Experiences Technology (DXT) – driving operational excellence, financial transparency, and delivery velocity across a global technology ecosystem.

What You Will Do

The Vice President, Portfolio & Strategic Enablement will lead a large‑scale HR and Finance technology transformation, define the technical project management strategy across Disney Signature Experiences (DSE), and govern the enterprise technology portfolio. The role is accountable for advancing standardization, modernization, and data‑driven decision‑making, while elevating technical learning programs and overseeing vendor strategy and governance to deliver measurable business impact at scale.

Operating with an enterprise mindset, this leader sets long‑term direction and drives alignment across segments and locations, delivering operational excellence through improved availability, reliability, quality, and cost. As a senior people leader, the role attracts and develops diverse talent, builds a strong coaching culture, and grows future leaders. Through strategic partnerships and outcome‑based vendor collaboration, the role accelerates innovation and value, while translating complex data into clear executive narratives that enable confident decision‑making and self‑service insights.

  • Own governance of long-term plans, annual plans, forecasting, and executive reporting.

  • Lead MyPPM/Clarity and portfolio analytics for thousands of users.

  • Standardize processes across global sites and integrate with Atlassian and Service Now ecosystems.

  • Drive enterprise portfolio leadership, roadmap alignment, and financial transparency.

DXT Technical Learning & Development

  • Set and lead the DX technical learning, development and capability agenda, advancing onboarding, mentorship, the Tech Academy, and skills frameworks to build future‑ready talent.

  • Own the Tech Academy and DX Learning & Development portfolio, prioritizing GenAI, platforms, and critical capabilities to deliver measurable capability uplift.

  • Scale signature programs (internships, apprenticeships, mentorship, onboarding) while sustaining high engagement across Disney Experiences.

Vendor Management

  • Define and execute a vendor strategy that rationalizes the portfolio, elevates strategic partnerships, and drives measurable value across cost, performance, and risk.

  • Lead the evolution of the VMO into a strategic partnerships function governing third‑party engagement, compliance, performance, and value realization.

  • Mature the SPOT/3PE/VEP platforms and vendor data capabilities to ensure portfolio transparency, cost avoidance, and regulatory compliance across 40+ countries.

  • Ensure portfolio and vendor practices meet security, regulatory, and audit standards; steward CMDB integrity and annual certifications.
