Software Engineer – AI Ops
Seeking an AI Ops–focused Software Engineer to support monitoring, cost optimization, and operational analytics for AI and ML platforms in a cloud environment.
Responsibilities- Monitor AI and ML systems including inference, embeddings, and API usage
- Build dashboards to track performance, reliability, and cloud spend
- Analyze logs and metrics to troubleshoot operational issues
- Support cloud cost optimization using Fin Ops practices
- Partner with engineering teams on operational improvements
- 2–4 years in Ops, Analytics, or Technical Operations (AIOps, MLOps, Data Ops, Platform Ops)
- Understanding of AI and ML concepts including LLMs and vector databases
- Experience with cloud cost tracking and optimization
- Proficiency with dashboarding tools (Looker, Tableau, Grafana)
- Working knowledge of GCP; AWS or Azure is a plus
- Comfortable with SQL and basic Python
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
- Experience with managed LLM platforms
- Familiarity with AI agents or RAG systems
- Exposure to ML lifecycle operations or Responsible AI concepts
