Test Automation Engineer – Orlando, FL

The Decision Advantage Business Area at Leidos has an opening for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to work in our Orlando, FL office. Department of the Air Force (DAF) Battle Network and supporting infrastructure. In this mission we support the Department of the Air Force (DAF) to field and operate the customer’s Digital Infrastructure. The Test Automation Engineer will be involved in day‑to‑day activities and strategic long‑term maturation of complex systems.

Details are as follows:

• The Test team within the Digital Infrastructure Network Integration Lab (DI‑NIL) will maintain the DI‑NIL architecture and services, including support for RHEL, Windows, and other systems and appliances; this includes structure and compliance configurations, integration with Active Directory for authentication, and day‑to‑day management of the architecture.
• All systems destined for operation on the production network will pass through the DI‑NIL for V&V testing from the build through configuration to service delivery. This position will work with the team to create test automation that ensures all systems meet strict DoD compliance and are optimally configured for performance.
• Full documentation of test automation and process flows will be mandatory to ensure tasks are documented and repeatable.
• The DI‑NIL support effort includes working with customers to configure the environment properly and to provide least‑privilege access during stakeholder activities. The role will field deep‑dive discussions related to code development and availability.
• Additional duties include backing up other personnel in support of the DI‑NIL effort focused on Verification and Validation for the Digital Infrastructure Network.

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience or master’s degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience (additional years may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
• Demonstrable knowledge of test automation concepts and application to Department of Defense programs.
• Experience in design‑review participation and providing customer‑centric input.
• Basic network understanding and ability to adjust test automation across the enterprise.
• Mid‑level understanding of government systems security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation.
• Ability to brief technical and non‑technical customers.

• 4 years of DoD‑based system security testing (ACAS/Nessus) and remediation.
• Prior experience designing and deploying network and SAFe Agile implementation.
• Experience with Agile program execution and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Support experience with Department of the Air Force programs.
• Experience working on complex multi‑domain systems.
• Experience with design and validation of Cloud and Edge Computing and Network.
• Experience validating functionality, performance, stability, and scalability of features and products in network topologies.
