Web Developer – Military Simulation / MS&T About the Role
Ever wonder what powers the control panels inside next-generation military simulators?
This role puts you right at the heart of it.
You’ll be developing the web-based control interface — the part pilots, sailors, and operators actually see and interact with during training. Using React
, Type Script , and JSX
, you’ll craft dynamic, real-time dashboards and instrument panels that connect directly to complex simulation systems. This is an opportunity to build something that looks like a high-tech cockpit, but lives in a modern web environment.
- Develop and maintain interactive web-based conning interfaces for advanced simulation systems.
- Use React
, Type Script , and JSX to create intuitive, real-time displays and control panels. - Integrate a variety of third-party packages within a large, modular codebase.
- Collaborate with simulation engineers and UI/UX designers to ensure seamless performance and design consistency.
- (Optional) Support backend integration and APIs using Node.js
.
- 3+ years of professional experience in web application development
. - Strong skills in React
, Type Script , and JSX
. - Comfort working in large, multi-package environments
. - Understanding of UI/UX design for interactive or real-time systems.
- Familiarity with Node.js
, APIs
, or full-stack concepts (a plus). - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance
. Active clearance is preferred but not required.
- Experience in Modeling, Simulation, and Training (MS&T) or defense environments
. - Knowledge of Apache Thrift or other API communication frameworks.
