Basic Qualifications
- ACTIVE Secret Clearance required with the ability to obtain Top Secret.
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related discipline.
- Ability to obtain Sec+ or equivalent DoD Directive 8570 / 8140 Information Assurance Management Level II or III certification within 6 months of employment.
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating system security requirements.
- Hands‑on experience with industry standard Information Assurance tools.
Lockheed Martin MFC is embarking on a digital transformation journey. We seek a qualified candidate for the position of Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to protect classified information systems in Orlando, FL.
What You Will Be Doing- Oversee day‑to‑day information‑system security operations, including audits of hardware, software, and RMF package authorizations.
- Administer information systems in accordance with Lockheed Martin and customer security requirements, primarily using the RMF.
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to network and security events; investigate incidents and apply corrective measures.
- Maintain configuration‑management records for all security‑relevant hardware, software, and firmware throughout the system life cycle.
- Collaborate with the ISSM and Program Security to implement and manage a formal Information Security / Information Systems Security program.

Desired Skills- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, demanding environment.
- Experience working with classified information systems.
- Previous experience working in a SAP/SCI environment.
- Experience with developing, reviewing, and maintaining RMF artifacts.
- Knowledge of system accreditation requirements and NIST 800‑53 (DAAPM/JSIG) RMF implementation.
- Knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security.
- Knowledge of industry standard Information Assurance tools (Splunk, Nessus/Tenable/ACAS, STIGViewer/SCAP Compliance Checker/eSTIG, McAfee ePO, McAfee DLP).
- Understanding of network concepts and Type 1 encryption devices (e.g., TACLANE, firewall).
- Ability to perform technical certifications for systems being presented to the government for authorization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interface with security agencies, customers, and senior management.
- Ability to speak in front of large groups of people.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Top‑Secret Clearance.
Must be a U.S. citizen. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start and has the ability to obtain Top‑Secret clearance.
