REMOTE Salesforce Business Analyst –
CONTRACT assignment with one of our premier Sports Entertainment clients.
We are looking for a Business Analyst who not only "gathers requirements" but also serves as a strategic architect for our future state. In this role, you will be the bridge between complex business challenges and innovative technical solutions, directly impacting how we serve our players, members, and the broader community.
Position SummaryWe are seeking a visionary problem-solver. As a Business Analyst, you will not just document what is—you will define what should be. You will lead high-impact initiatives, driving the transition from current-state inefficiencies to future-state excellence.
You will act as a "Critical Friend" to the business—challenging assumptions, uncovering root causes, and ensuring that every technical solution (particularly within our CRM (Salesforce) ecosystem) delivers measurable business value. This is a role for a leader who can influence without authority and thrives in the space between "business strategy" and "technical execution."
Key Impact Areas Strategic Process Architecture- Architect the Future:
Move beyond simple documentation. Facilitate dynamic workshops to map "As-Is" processes and aggressively design optimized "To-Be" workflows that reduce friction and increase speed-to-market. - Gap & Opportunity Analysis:
Proactively identify the "white space" between current capabilities and strategic goals. Deliver actionable Gap Analyses that serve as the roadmap for our digital transformation. - Root Cause Detective:
Use rigorous analytical techniques to drill down to the root cause of business problems, ensuring we solve the right puzzle.
- Translate Vision to Detail:
Synthesize high‑level business goals into crystal‑clear Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), functional flows, and data models. - Consensus Builder:
Navigate complex stakeholder environments. Negotiate with senior leadership to harmonize conflicting needs and lock down a scope that is both ambitious and achievable. - Traceability Guardian:
Ensure that every line of code written can be traced back to a tangible business objective or user need.
- CRM & Salesforce Optimization:
Serve as our CRM and Salesforce SME. Leverage the platform for marketing communications and build a holistic viewpoint of the customer. Perform "Fit‑Gap" analysis to maximize out‑of‑the‑box CRM capabilities before recommending custom builds, ensuring our architecture remains scalable and clean. - Quality Assurance Partner:
Champion the user experience during User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Ensure the solution solves the business problem before it goes live. - Agile & Waterfall Fluency:
Toggle seamlessly between "Agile" speed and "Waterfall" structure depending on the project's needs.
- A Storyteller:
Explain complex data models to non‑technical stakeholders and business strategy to developers without missing a beat. - A Diplomat:
Navigate office politics and conflicting priorities with grace, driving consensus without needing to be the "boss." - A Self‑Starter:
Do not wait for permission to fix a broken process. Identify problems, analyze them, and propose solutions. - Tech‑Savvy:
Comfortable diving into Jira to manage backlogs and presenting a strategic deck in Google Slides.
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field. - Experience:
3‑5+ years of high‑impact Business Analysis experience, preferably in a consultative or client‑facing role. - CRM & Salesforce Mastery (Required):
Deep experience with CRM platforms, understanding Salesforce’s object model and limitations, and leveraging it to solve real‑world problems.
- Highly Preferred: IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP).
- Bonus:
Salesforce Administrator/Consultant certifications.
- Collaboration:
Expert‑level proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive). - Execution:
Mastery of Jira (for agile management) and Confluence (for knowledge base).
