Product Manager

Optomi, in partnership with a leading entertainment and cruise line company, is seeking a Product Manager / Product Owner to support the middleware services that connect guest-facing platforms with critical back-end systems. This role is ideal for a technical product professional who thrives in a scaling Agile environment and excels at managing the "connective tissue" that enables cruise reservations, guest self-service features, and call center functionality.

You’ll work with a highly technical team to deliver seamless digital experiences while managing sustainment, backlog enhancements, and larger strategic initiatives.

• Impact High-Visibility Systems: Work on the core services enabling cruise reservations, online check-in, and guest-facing digital features.

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in enterprise or multi-matrix environments.
• Technical Middleware Expertise: Proven experience managing middleware services, order fulfillment, or sales/fulfillment exchange workflows.
• Architectural Literacy: Comfort understanding distributed systems, reviewing logs, and participating in deep-dive technical discussions with engineers.
• Agile Mindset: Strong background in backlog management, roadmap planning, and navigating ambiguity in a scaling Agile (SAFe) environment.
• Stakeholder Mastery: Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution.

  Experience with Jira; familiarity with Jira Advanced Roadmaps or similar reporting tools is a plus.
• Domain Knowledge: Background supporting reservation systems, guest self-service platforms, or hospitality commerce is highly preferred.

• Own the Backlog: Prioritize middleware services supporting reservation systems, online check-in, and guest self-service features.
• Bridge Business & Tech: Act as the primary link between stakeholders (Contact Center, Digital, etc.) and the engineering team to capture and translate requirements.

• Collaborate on Execution: Partner with BAs to ensure product stories are clear and act as a confident voice for the team to ensure role ownership and accountability.
• Lead Agile Ceremonies: Participate in and support PI Planning, backlog refinement, and roadmap planning sessions.
• Ensure System Integrity: Review system behavior and work closely with engineers to navigate technical constraints and deliver high-value solutions.
