Senior Director, Enterprise Data Management

Full-Time | Orlando, FL | Salary + 22% Annual Bonus | Hybrid

Our client is seeking a Senior Director of Enterprise Data Management to lead enterprise-wide data strategy, governance, and platform oversight. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for ensuring the availability, integrity, security, and usability of data that powers business operations, analytics, reporting, and digital transformation initiatives. This leader will oversee multiple enterprise data functions, including Data Warehousing, Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), Data Architecture, and AI enablement.

This is a management-focused leadership role. The ideal candidate has grown their career from hands‑on engineering or architecture into enterprise-level data leadership and now thrives on strategy, team leadership, and operational oversight rather than day‑to‑day technical build work.

Define and execute the enterprise data strategy, translating business objectives into scalable data platforms, operating models, and multi-year roadmaps. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on data investments, priorities, risks, and opportunities.

Provide executive oversight for enterprise data platforms, including cloud data lakes and warehouses, ELT/ETL pipelines, analytical data assets, and database environments. Experience with next-generation platforms such as Snowflake or Databricks is strongly preferred.

Oversee the lifecycle of enterprise data products, including master and reference data. Drive enterprise adoption through strong governance alignment, business partnership, and measurable impact.

Champion enterprise data governance, quality, and literacy initiatives. Ensure common definitions, standards, lineage, stewardship, and accountability across critical data assets.

Lead and develop a global data organization of approximately 25 professionals (U.S. and offshore). Oversee planning, prioritization, and execution of initiatives using Agile and product-oriented delivery models. Manage budgets, vendor relationships, and platform costs.

• Proven experience leading enterprise data organizations
• Background that started in data engineering, architecture, or analytics before moving into leadership
• Strong experience with enterprise data warehousing, governance, MDM, and cloud platforms
• Executive presence with the ability to partner across business and technology teams
• Experience managing global teams and large-scale data initiatives
