Audio Video Support Technician

At Synect Media, we specialize in creating extraordinary digital experiences, from smart spaces to dynamic video walls and digital signage. We design custom content and interactive solutions that scale seamlessly across locations, pushing the boundaries of multimedia installations.

What You'll Do:

• Set up, test, and operate AV equipment including LCD & LED displays, video walls, digital signage, extenders (fiber and copper), and control systems.
• Install and configure AV hardware according to client's specifications.
• Provide on-site technical support.
• Create and maintain detailed technical and training documentation.
• Maintain and update AV inventory and documentation.
• Manage competing priorities effectively and provide timely solutions.
• Continuously expand your knowledge and adapt to new technologies in an ever-evolving field.
• Work 40 hours per week with some scheduling flexibility, including shifts every Saturday.

• Entry-level IT knowledge and willingness to grow technical skills.
• Ability to isolate issues, identify root causes, and independently implement solutions.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent troubleshooting skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills to engage confidently with clients and teams.
• Positive and proactive approach to working with clients and colleagues.
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Audio Engineering, IT, Electronics).

Preferred (but not required)

Skills:

• Experience in AV systems, including hardware, firmware, and networking.
• Experience with digital signage systems.
• Experience in a corporate, higher education, or hospitality environment.

This position requires physical ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, moving, and setting up equipment. Candidates must be able to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds, work on their feet for extended periods, and handle physical tasks as part of daily responsibilities.
