Job Summary
The Vice President, Business Technology Solutions for Universal Creative (UC) is responsible for leading the full scope of the NBCUniversal Operations & Technology (O&T) team in support of UC globally. Responsible for delivery, operations, and strategic long-range planning for all O&T solutions and services relative to UC. Leads multi-functional teams from UC, Universal Destinations and Experiences (UDX), and O&T to align, plan, and implement solutions and service models to support UC.
Key member of the UC Strategic Operations Team.
- Provide technology solution leadership and guidance to the Universal Creative (UC) Strategic Operations team, dotted-line reporting to the SVP, Strategic Operations, UC. Develop and implement the UC Business Technology Strategy in support of UC strategic objectives. Lead integrated multi-year strategic planning, prioritization, and road-mapping between UC, UDX Digital & Technology (D&T), and O&T. Facilitate and oversee the integration and ongoing operations of core services from O&T enterprise teams as required by UC.
Ensure Availability, Reliability, Productivity, Growth, and Security of technology platforms and operations in support of UC. - Lead the strategy and delivery of workplace technology solutions and operations; and business technology solutions and application operations globally for UC. Lead the implementation, alignment, integration, and operations of media, digital asset, and related content management platforms and supply chains to support the UC project lifecycle globally. Responsible for application development, delivery, and sustainment for core UC business applications. Lead unified architecture roadmap and enablement to support UC work management processes.
Drive talent development through performance management, coaching, and career growth planning. - Oversee business analysis and solutioning for O&T services. Serve as a trusted advisor and subject-matter expert in O&T services and capabilities. Lead various audit and compliance preparedness and evaluation activities. Lead O&T support for business transformation activities as relevant.
- Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training and team member involvement activities.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
Experience- 12+ years of experience in technology, including 7+ years in a leadership role required;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
