Overview
Dev Ops Team Lead (Must Work EST Hours)
Our company is growing rapidly, and our investment in scalable platforms and strong operational foundations is essential to support that growth. We are seeking a Dev Ops Team Lead who can both manage and technically guide a high-performing Dev Ops engineering team. In this role, you will focus on platform health, developer enablement, stability of development/production environments, CI/CD pipeline advancement, and operational efficiency through automation.
Due to the operational nature of the position, some off-hours on-call support is required, with strong consideration given to maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

- 5+ years leading a Dev Ops team, providing both managerial and hands-on technical leadership
- 10+ years as a Dev Ops engineer with a professional software development background
- Experience working in environments handling sensitive data (e.g., PHI, PII) and navigating strict access controls in partnership with security teams
- Demonstrated thought leadership in Dev Ops best practices, automation strategies, and software delivery processes
- Strong experience building containerized solutions for applications and CI/CD pipelines
- Ability to support on-call escalation and occasionally work a shifted schedule for cross-time-zone support
- Proven ability to troubleshoot platform and application issues, including root-cause analysis and post-mortems
- Flexibility to plan daily team tasking while also coordinating larger cross-team Dev Ops initiatives
- Must work EST hours
Experience with one or more tools/technologies in each area:
CI/CD Platforms- Git Hub, Azure Dev Ops, Team City, Jenkins, Git Lab, GoCD, Octopus, AWS Code Commit/Code Deploy
- Android CI/CD experience is a plus (Gradle, Maven)
- Azure App Services
- Docker containerization
- Kubernetes
- Git Hub Enterprise, Git, Azure Dev Ops, TFS
- yarn, npm, NuGet Server, Git Hub Packages, Azure Artifacts
- IaC tools such as Terraform
- Configuration management best practices
- Power Shell, Python, Java Script
- Telemetry platforms, dashboards, reporting, alerting
- Ability to work closely with architecture, security, infra, and development teams within Agile processes
Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
