Technical Support Engineer Automation (Hybrid, Orlando, FL)
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer for a large, global B2B high-tech company. In this role, you will be responsible for resolving technical cases created by customers looking for help to understand or troubleshoot unexpected behaviors or to answer technical questions about the Service Now software and platform.
This is a 12-month project (Extension or Conversion to FTE Possible), 40 hours per week, hybrid role, 2 days onsite at Client's office in Orlando, FL.
This is a W2 employee of Stage 4 Solutions. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
Must be a US citizen or a Green Card holder.
Responsibilities:- Resolve technical cases created by customers looking for help to understand or troubleshoot unexpected behaviors or to answer technical questions about the Service Now software and platform.
- Providing amazing customer support experiences, using skills that include building trust, showing empathy, and excellent communication to answer customer questions and resolve issues through various technologies, including web, chat, email, case updates, as well as direct telephone support.
- Understanding the Service Now platform and all core functionalities will be essential while employing various diagnostic tools to isolate the potential cause of the issue. The engineer is expected to diligently manage and resolve challenging issues assigned to them, but may need to coordinate assistance from additional teams for more complex cases.
- Support engineers in providing input across business units regarding process and product improvements due to their unique perspective when working on technical issues for customers.
- Interacts directly with the customer/user when the product is highly technical or sophisticated in nature, such as with system-level software, where the user has a technical background. In a less sophisticated environment, as with many applications products where the user is nontechnical, this position would generally interact with product support personnel and potentially the customer when the customer's problem cannot be resolved directly by first-level resources.
- Must have expertise in JavaScript.
- Experience in Networking and OS debugging.
- Knowledge of the Service Now Platform.

Compensation: $30/hr - $35.71/hr
