Summary
Protégé, a division of All Native Group and Ho-Chunk, Incorporated is seeking an exceptional Network Administrator to be responsible for design, implementation, security, and sustainment of network infrastructure and security stacks supporting NTSL operations and training systems,
Essential Functions- Design, configure, and maintain:
- Secure network architecture
- LAN/WAN infrastructure
- Network security stack
- Ensure compliance with Moderate-Medium-Low (MML) cybersecurity controls
- Implement and maintain:
- Firewalls, VPNs, and secure communications
- Network monitoring and intrusion detection
- Support continuous monitoring and ATO sustainment
- Configure networks to support:
- NMCI and DREN connectivity
- Secure Government system integration
- Perform network performance tuning and optimization
- Support vulnerability scanning and remediation
- Provide technical recommendations for upgrades and improvements
- Assist with:
- System integration
- Engineering upgrades and technology refresh
- Cybersecurity Responsibilities:
- Configure systems in accordance with DISA STIGs / SRGs
- Perform IAVA compliance validation and continuous security assessments
- Support RMF lifecycle and ATO documentation
- Deliverables Ownership:
- Network architecture diagrams
- Security stack configuration documentation
- Vulnerability assessment reports
- Network performance and availability metrics
- Enterprise networking (Cisco/Juniper/etc.)
- Firewalls, VPNs, and security appliances
- DoD cybersecurity frameworks
- Experience with:
- Training systems / lab environments
- DISA STIG compliance
- ACAS / SCAP tools

Work EnvironmentThis job operates in executive settings with frequent engagement at the highest levels of Navy leadership. This role uses executive office equipment and classified communication systems.
Physical DemandsThe physical demands are typical of executive positions, with extensive travel and high-stress decision-making requirements. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time executive position with flexible hours based on mission requirements.

Experience8+ years of network administration experience
EducationBachelor’s degree in IT, Network Engineering, or related field
