Description
The Forge seeks an Engineering & Technology (E&T) Manager to lead AI/ML research and data operations that support production engineering and manufacturing. The role blends advanced analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, and AI‑powered software development to drive data‑driven decision making across the organization.
What You Will Be Doing- Lead individual contributors in developing AI research solutions for The Forge.
- Research and develop AI‑powered Python software products that meet production needs.
- Construct and execute technical roadmaps for the production AI consulting portfolio.
- Provide technical coaching, mentoring, career development, and continuous feedback to team members.
- Advise on and advocate for the deployment of AI and statistical algorithm systems on high‑performance compute infrastructure.
- Report to the Forge Product Manager and support the development of advanced analytics capabilities.
- Flexible 4 day x 10 hour schedule with 3 days off per week.

Orlando, Florida
Security ClearanceRequires an active U.S. Secret clearance and US citizenship.
Basic Qualifications- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Physics, or related field.
- 5+ years of AI/ML research and development experience, with strong expertise in machine learning, deep learning, and generative AI.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Tensor Flow, PyTorch, and scikit‑learn.
- Deployed AI and statistical algorithms on high‑performance compute infrastructure.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
- Ability to lay out technical roadmaps and communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem‑solving mindset for integrating conflicting or incomplete data on a rapid schedule.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build effective working relationships.
- Publication record in top‑tier AI/ML conferences and journals.
- Experience with AI/ML ethics, fairness, and transparency.
- Solid understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
