Site Reliability Engineer - Hybrid (Orlando, FL / Glendale, CA / Seattle, WA)
Optomi, in partnership with a leading technology organization, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support critical platform reliability, automation, and modernization initiatives.
This role focuses heavily on reducing operational toil, improving system performance, and driving automation across cloud and application environments. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver with strong scripting skills, cloud expertise, and a deep understanding of CI/CD and system reliability best practices.

- Exposure to multi-cloud environments and modern Dev Ops tooling!
- 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Dev Ops, or similar roles
- Strong Python scripting and automation experience
- Hands-on experience with Terraform (including version upgrades)
- Experience working with AWS (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager) with strong understanding of security policies
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Hub, Git Lab, Harness)
- Understanding of SDLC and application lifecycle processes
- Exposure to Node.js and/or Java-based environments
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (App Engine, Kubernetes, Cloud Functions, Firebase, IAM)
- Experience working with load balancers (application and/or network/WAN)
- Strong communication, ownership, and problem-solving skills
- Identify and implement automation opportunities to reduce manual operational effort
- Support migration and modernization of legacy systems and platforms
- Build and maintain infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
- Ensure secure and compliant cloud configurations, particularly within AWS environments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
- Monitor system performance and reliability, proactively addressing issues
- Partner with team leads to align on standards, priorities, and delivery goals
- Document processes, improvements, and system changes clearly
- Experience with Terraform and infrastructure automation
- AWS experience (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager)
- CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins, Git Hub, Git Lab, or Harness)
- Understanding of SDLC and Dev Ops best practices
- Experience with cloud and distributed systems
