Quality Assurance Specialist (QAS) II
Bear Mountain, a division of All Native Group and Ho Chunk, Incorporated, seeks an exceptional QAS II responsible for rigorous editorial and technical review of all CTC deliverables. Reporting to the QAS III, you serve as a key gatekeeper ensuring all instructional products meet the NETC Style Guide, NAVEDTRA 142 standards, and Section 508 accessibility mandates.
Essential Functions- Conduct comprehensive technical and editorial reviews of all training materials, focusing on instructional integrity and adherence to the NETC NAVEDTRA 142.
- Verify that all multimedia products, including Adobe Captivate conversions, comply with Section 508 accessibility standards.
- Assist in collecting and synthesizing pilot comments at training sites, documenting identified errors for post‑pilot remediation.
- Maintain “Team BMSC” quality standards across multiple rating portfolios to ensure seamless final curriculum delivery.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Capability to lead a team of subject matter experts in a high‑tempo curriculum development environment.
- Demonstrated experience in all five phases of the Instructional Systems Design model.
- Experience creating assessments.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and design skills for training course materials.
- Excellent written and spoken use of the English language.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills; attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).

Work EnvironmentExecutive settings with frequent engagement at the highest levels of Navy leadership. Uses executive office equipment and classified communication systems.
Physical DemandsTypical of executive positions: extensive travel and high‑stress decision‑making. Requires ability to talk/hear regularly.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkFull‑time executive position with flexible hours based on mission requirements.
TravelPrimarily local during business day; some out‑of‑area travel and overnight may be expected.
Experience- 3–5 years relevant experience evaluating military multimedia training products.
- Experience with Adobe Captivate software.
- Experience with MELD software.
Bachelor’s degree in English, Instructional Design, or a related field.
Additional Eligibility QualificationsRecognized as a specialty area expert in a specific Naval rating.
