Description
Position located at Aviano Air Force Base, Italy as part of a team of Classified Cybersecurity Professionals supporting Lockheed Martin RMS. Responsibilities include developing, implementing, and maintaining Windows and Linux servers/clients, PC desktops, network devices, and supporting applications, as well as systems security testing, accreditation activities, and vulnerability scanning. Candidates will manage system security plans, POAM, and other security related processes, perform routine security scans, and apply security patches.
They will consult on design, development, integration, and analysis of classified computing systems, assist in self‑inspection reviews, and investigate computer security incidents.
- Interim Secret Clearance.
- DoD IAT Level II certification: CCNA Security, CSA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security + CE, or SSCP.
- Experience with NIST SP 800‑53 security controls.
- Experience with continuous monitoring of system security controls.
- Ability to build and maintain effective team and customer relationships.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, demanding environment.
- Knowledge of other security disciplines and how they impact and interact with information system security.
- Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Extensive experience with ACAS, Nessus, and Security Center.
- Experience with NISPOM and RMF certification and accreditation processes.
- Experience working with classified information systems.
- Ability to work independently without appreciable direction.
- Attention to detail and adherence to established security policies.
- eMASS experience.
- Prior ISSO/ISSM experience.
- Understanding of networking concepts and cybersecurity tools including DISA STIG, SCAP, and vulnerability scanners.
Position requires a US government security clearance. US citizenship is required. Clearance level:
Secret.
