Job Description
TEC Contract Support Specialist (CEI)
Location:
Tampa, FL. Hybrid work model.
Compensation: USD 75, yearly.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide document management and project controls support which includes receiving, inventory, auditing, tracking, storing, retrieving, and distributing classified and unclassified electronic, paper, and other media project data and documents according to company policy.
- Manage the setup and maintenance of document control/records management for multiple projects and Project Managers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Apply professional judgment and independent thought on details of work under limited supervision.
- Resolve questions and problems.
- Perform assignments with minimal direction.
- Review and process contractor pay applications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms.
- Assist in preparation and review of change orders, contract modifications, and amendments.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including contractors, subcontractors, and FDOT representatives.
- Monitor and report on project schedules, identifying potential delays and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Assist in preparation of monthly progress reports, highlighting key performance indicators and project milestones.
- Participate in project meetings and site visits as needed, documenting discussions and action items.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project files, including correspondence, submittals, and contract documents.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of project-specific quality control procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of contract administration processes and best practices.
- BA/BS degree plus 4 years of related experience, or AS Degree plus 6 years of related experience, or HS/GED plus 8 years of related experience or equivalent education.
- US citizenship required.
- Valid US driver’s license and ability to pass Motor Vehicle Records review.
- Understands which surfaces are required from the designer.
- Understands survey data from the field.
- Prepares survey data for use in software.
- Generates accurate earthwork quantities from the software.
- Four years of CEI experience performing or assisting in project related duties (e.g., Materials Acceptance and Certification (MAC) System input, progress and final estimates, EEO compliance, processing construction contract changes).
- Two years of experience with 3D Modeling and CADD.
- Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available.
- Relocation is not provided.
