Systems Analyst
Job Details
Serves as the primary point of contact for IT managers and directors, overseeing associated application teams and managing analyst staff through resource allocation, scheduling, and performance assessments. It involves close collaboration with IS&T and operational leadership to establish priorities, resolve barriers, and ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities- Partner with other application teams to drive system integration and efficiency.
- Develop and document procedures for implementing system changes.
- Act as liaison between end users, vendors, and third parties, addressing user issues and troubleshooting problems.
- Analyze application content to negotiate requested modifications.
- Prepare detailed specifications as needed.
- Maintain professional interactions consistent with Jefferson's values.
- Provide resource allocation and assignment delegation to analyst staff.
- Collaborate with IS&T and operational leadership to drive priorities, and to escalates and resolve barriers and issues.
- Manage analyst staff through scheduling and performance assessment.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3 years direct management experience and 5 years direct Epic build, implementation, and support experience.
- 7 years progressive experience in Information Services, or a combination of Information Services and direct healthcare experience.
- Large Hospital/IDN Information Technology experience and/or Healthcare Operations experience.
- Program/Large project management implementation/upgrades facilitation.
- Integrated systems architecture planning, development, and implementation.
- Technical collaboration (e.g., interfaces, hardware, and reporting).
- Team leadership, coaching, and mentoring.
- Triaging, on‑call/DR/BC experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- EPIC Certification - Epic Systems.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related healthcare field.
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science or related healthcare field.
- 5 years direct management experience.
- 7 years direct Epic build on current software version.
- 10 years progressive experience in Information Services, or a combination of Information Services and direct healthcare experience.
- PMP – Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute.
- EPIC Certification – Epic Systems.
Lift and carry up to 25 lbs.; frequent sitting/standing, frequent keyboard use. Patient care providers may be required to perform activities specific to their role including kneeling, bending, squatting and performing CPR.
