Desktop Support Technician

Orlando, FL (100% onsite, regional travel required)

12-month contract

Looking for someone who enjoys hands-on IT support and troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

What You'll Be Doing

+ Set up and support desktops, laptops, and mobile devices

+ Troubleshoot hardware, software, login, and user account issues

+ Perform PC imaging, deployments, and system upgrades

+ Support printers, peripherals, and network-connected devices

+ Provide Tier 2 support and escalate more complex issues as needed

+ Work with Active Directory, ticketing systems, and Windows environments

+ Assist with basic networking (LAN, switches, wireless access points, cabling)

+ Document issues/resolutions and help train users when needed

+ Support both staff systems and internal lab environments

✅ What They're Looking For

+ 2+ years of desktop support or help desk experience (Tier 2 preferred)

+ Experience troubleshooting:

+ Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Outlook

+ PCs, printers, and peripherals

+ Hands-on experience with:

+ Active Directory (user accounts, password resets)

+ Imaging and deployments

+ Ticketing systems

+ Basic understanding of networking (TCP/IP, LAN)

+ Strong customer service and communication skills

+ Valid driver's license (travel required)

Work Environment

+ 100% onsite in the greater Orlando area

+ Primary location at one site, with travel to nearby locations

+ Work is performed in a secure, structured environment supporting multiple teams and systems

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $53.00/hr.
