Overview
We are seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee and support daily technology operations across the organization. This role is responsible for maintaining reliable infrastructure, managing the IT Support Specialist who provides the first tier of support, managing vendors and systems, and helping guide future technology improvements. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, organized, calm under pressure, and capable of balancing support, infrastructure, basic cybersecurity needs, and project management responsibilities.
This position will encompass all areas of IT within the business.
- Oversee IT support operations, monitor ticket queues
- Maintain network infrastructure
- Assist with escalated issues regarding printers, desktops, laptops, iPads, and phones
- Manage Microsoft 365 emails and licenses, domain name registrations
- Manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy
- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, software providers, and third‑party support partners for ordering and maintaining IT products and services/integrations
- Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and inventory
- Recommend improvements to increase reliability, security, and efficiency
- Oversee endpoint protection, backups, and disaster recovery solutions
- 3+ years of IT experience
- Certifications such as CCNA, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft certifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or related
- Strong understanding of:
- Networking (switches, firewalls, VLANs)
- Fortinet, Cisco, or Ubiquiti environments
- Windows environments and Microsoft 365
- Windows desktop support
- Windows Server fundamentals
- Backup and disaster recovery systems
- VoIP or PBX phone systems
- Experience managing vendors and IT projects
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and work independently
- Project management experience
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Must be able to lift 35lbs.
