Overview
Epic Integration Analyst, Senior — Builds and supports integration technologies (Epic Bridges, Cloverleaf and Capsule) to serve business needs. Participates in the full development lifecycle for team integration technologies and projects. Administers and supports automated systems via the construction and testing within area(s) of specialization. Partners with senior developers and application architects to identify the business needs and appropriate technical solutions for interfaces and integrations between Epic and third party systems.
Responsibilities- Seven years of interface experience in HL7, XML, FHIR.
- Epic Bridges certified (current) with ≥5 years in the role.
- Cloverleaf or similar interface engine experience (≥7 years).
- Serve as a mentor to Level I analysts.
- Device integration experience (nice to have).
- Support and monitor current state interfaces in development, staging, and production environments.
- Follow the SDLC process for new integration projects.
- Develop, plan and execute thorough and complete test scenarios and plans; develop and execute interface error management strategy.
- Participate in Epic system upgrade projects.
- Collaborate with senior developers and application architects to identify business needs and technical solutions between EPIC and third-party systems.
- Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation (approximately 4 times per year).
- Develop interface documentation including requirement documents and knowledge sharing documentation.
- Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED; 5 years of related work experience.
- Expertise in Windows Server administration (2016/2019/2022) and Active Directory services, including DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy management.
- Proficiency in Power Shell scripting for automation and advanced administration.
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as Hyper-V and VMware.
- Experience with cloud integration (Azure AD, hybrid environments), patch management (WSUS), and backup/disaster recovery solutions.
- Strong understanding of security hardening, endpoint protection, and performance monitoring tools (Perf Mon, SCOM, Solar Winds).
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
