Wordpress Developer

The Role

We're looking for a Word Press developer who takes ownership of technical direction, not just closes tickets. You'll build custom themes from the ground up using core Word Press functionality. You'll also maintain and improve existing client sites, some of which aren't as advanced as the sites we're currently making. We need someone who can write code, troubleshoot problems and isn't above rolling up their sleeves on whatever a project requires.

You’ll transform designs into clean, responsive websites, develop custom solutions, and build sites that perform well across all devices. When something isn't working, we expect you to dig into why, not just flag it and wait. You approach a quick content update with the same care as a full site build.

Your typical week includes hand-coding Word Press themes, building Woo Commerce functionality, optimizing site performance, and collaborating with the team to ensure seamless design-to-development workflows. You'll work across multiple client projects simultaneously at agency pace.

Boldist is a design and development studio founded in 2008. We've built hundreds of websites and eCommerce stores, launched brands from the ground up, and defined content strategies for multi-billion dollar companies. We do custom work and we care about getting better at it.
