Process Architect​/Sr. Configuration Management Process Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Process Architect / Sr. Configuration Management Process Architect for a Contract position with a client located in Orlando, FL (Hybrid).

Must Have Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in Configuration Management and CMDB administration.
• Expertise in Service Now CMDB (or similar tools like Remedy, Ivanti, App Space).
• Strong knowledge of ITIL v3 or later, ITSM best practices, and business process management (BPM).
• Experience in data quality audits, compliance tracking, and governance policies.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configuration Management & CMDB Oversight
• Manage and maintain CMDB data quality, integrity, and compliance.
• Track, audit, and optimize configuration items (CIs) and related data.
• Ensure configuration requests and compliance data are recorded accurately.
• Data Governance & Process Improvement
• Establish data quality controls, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Conduct data audits and ensure alignment with ITSM best practices.
• Calculate and report KPIs to measure data quality success.
• Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
• Work closely with data owners, IT teams, and business units to ensure accurate configuration data.
• Provide training and mentorship on Configuration Management and ITIL principles.
• Act as a key contact for data governance and compliance reporting.
• Support workflow automation and business process improvements in Service Now (preferred) or other CMDB tools like Remedy, Ivanti, etc.
• Participate in strategic projects to enhance configuration management capabilities.
• Design and generate reports to support data-driven decision-making.
