SAP MDM Project Manager

• Coordinate Master Data Management (MDM) initiatives in Customer Master, within SAP ERP framework. Guide the creation of data definitions, standards, and processes to consistently address recurring master data issues such as quality and consistency.
• Develop improvement processes, create tools and templates, and provide company-wide training related to master data initiatives.
• Work with IT to implement MDM initiatives in systems and applications.
• Provide direction and monitoring of work progress including status of agreed upon deliverables.
• Create strategies, architectures, templates, and tools to manage master data. Collaborate with IT Functional and Technical team members, including Business Intelligence team, to implement master data initiatives.
• Understand Business scenarios and convert it to MDM Business logic.
• Interpret business requirements and convert them into technical specifications. Understand the difference between master data and transactional data and provide guidelines to the business to help optimize business process.
• Implement initiatives to further enhance/enrich completeness and value of Master Data.
• Scope the project and help set and meet deadlines.
• Work with offshore team in Germany and India to develop the SAP integration enhancements.

Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business, Finance or a related field of study, and two (2) years of experience in a related occupation.

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Business, Finance or a related field of study, and five (5) years of progressive experience in a related occupation.

Academic coursework or work experience must have included: SAP Sales and Distribution, Interfaces and Master Data Management Systems;
Working with both IT and business sides of an organization;
Leading meetings and presenting in PowerPoint.
