Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Oracle Financials Consultant to support an assessment and remediation initiative for an Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials implementation.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on Oracle Financials implementation professional who has participated in multiple Oracle ERP projects and has experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving implementation challenges. The consultant will work closely with project leadership and business stakeholders to assess the current environment, recommend improvements, and drive remediation efforts.
This is a functional consulting role. Candidates should have hands‑on Oracle Financials implementation experience and strong functional expertise. This is not a technical development position.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct detailed assessments of existing Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials implementations.
Identify configuration gaps, process inefficiencies, and implementation issues.
Develop remediation plans and support execution of corrective actions.
Provide recommendations aligned with Oracle best practices and industry standards.
Support stabilization efforts and help improve system performance and adoption.
Oracle Financials Functional ExpertiseProvide functional expertise across the following Oracle Financials modules:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Cost Management
Analyze business processes and recommend system improvements.
Review configurations, setups, and transaction flows to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Support implementation, enhancement, and optimization activities.
Collaborate with project teams, business stakeholders, and leadership to drive project objectives.
Participate in workshops, requirements gathering sessions, solution reviews, testing activities, and deployment planning.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior consultants when needed.
Partner with finance and operational teams to understand business challenges.
Communicate findings, recommendations, and project status to leadership.
Work closely with implementation teams to resolve complex functional issues.
Location & TravelPosition is primarily remote.
Ability and willingness to travel to Orlando, Florida approximately 30% of the time.
For LATAM-based consultants, a valid visa permitting travel to the United States is required.
Travel expenses will be covered by the client.
Required Skills & Experience10+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP Financials.
Extensive experience with Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials implementations.
Strong functional expertise in:
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- General Ledger (GL)
- Cost Management
Experience participating in multiple end‑to‑end Oracle Financials implementation projects.
Proven experience assessing and resolving implementation challenges.
Strong understanding of financial processes and ERP best practices.
Ability to troubleshoot complex functional issues and drive remediation efforts.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong English communication skills (verbal and written).
Experience supporting implementation recovery or stabilization projects.
Experience working in consulting environments.
Previous experience leading assessment initiatives.
Experience collaborating with distributed and international teams.
Assignment Details- Initial assignment focused on an Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials assessment and remediation initiative.
