Technical Product Manager

Responsibilities

• Execute discovery work for a product in transition, documenting current state and desired future state to guide the development process.
• Capture business requirements and document existing business and technical processes within Disney's Commerce Team, in Parks Commercial Platforms.
• Work independently and in partnership with commercial teams to understand current business systems and illustrate the future state system.
• Drive requirement-gathering meetings with cross-functional teams and maintain consistent communication with peers and leadership.
• Facilitate sessions to determine the feasibility of specific requirements, analyzing the impact on existing business and technical processes.
• Manage technical discussions to gain alignment, and act as a gatekeeper & negotiator with our Business & product partners.
• Drive capability roadmap, dedicated to a squad/team.
• Analyze data to help inform product decision.
• Proactively communicate squad/team status, issues, and risks to leadership.
• Document application behavior and implementation.

• 3-5 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Technical Program Manager, Engineer, or Engineering Manager working with user interfaces, web services, databases, and cloud infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical knowledge with experience leading technical initiatives that span several teams and functional areas.
• Advanced in writing business & functional requirements.
• Experienced level in Microsoft Office Applications;
  Advanced knowledge and ability to use collaboration tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, Confluence.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
