Sr. Technical Project Manager

We are on the hunt for a Senior Project Manager to join our team, where you will play a critical role in enabling our teams by leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across our Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) and Atlassian product suites. This role serves as a strategic orchestrator, driving delivery from concept through launch and post-launch optimization, while ensuring alignment with organizational priorities, product strategy, and business outcomes.

Reporting to the Manager, PPM Process and Product, the Senior Project Manager partners closely with Product Managers, engineering teams, and business stakeholders to translate vision and strategy into actionable plans, measurable outcomes, and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate brings strong execution discipline, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

• Program & Project Planning.
  • Develop and manage detailed program and project plans in partnership with Product Managers and delivery teams.
  • Translate product strategy and roadmaps into executable work streams, milestones, and delivery plans.
  • Identify dependencies, critical paths, and delivery risks across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Stakeholder Communication & Alignment.
  • Establish clear communication models and cadences with executives, product leaders, technical teams, and business partners.
  • Led planned and ad-hoc meetings to review progress, surface risks, and drive decisions.
  • Prepare and deliver concise status updates, dashboards, and executive-level readouts.
  • Create polished, visually engaging presentations that simplify complex messages and stakeholder input into clear, compelling presentations, using strong visual storytelling to effectively communicate intent, progress, and outcomes.
• Cross-Functional Delivery.
  • Work closely with engineering and delivery teams to prioritize work, remove blockers, and ensure commitment to delivery plans.
  • Support teams in clarifying requirements, scope, and acceptance criteria to enable efficient execution.
  • Ensure alignment across product, technology, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Risk, Issue, and Escalation Management.
  • Proactively identify project risks, issues, and interdependencies.
  • Develop and execute mitigation strategies to keep initiatives on track.
  • Tactfully elevate issues at the right time and to the right stakeholders to drive resolution.
• Data, Metrics, and Reporting.
  • Define and track key delivery metrics related to project health, timelines, and outcomes.
  • Leverage tools such as Clarity, Jira, Confluence, Excel, and Smartsheet to analyze data and produce meaningful insights.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and summaries that support decision-making and prioritization.
• Leadership & Governance.
  • Provide delivery oversight across multiple projects and initiatives.
  • Mentor and support project managers as applicable, fostering strong delivery practices and consistency.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution, transparency, and stakeholder satisfaction.

• Strong experience working with PPM tools and Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, and Clarity).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in technical project and program management within complex, enterprise environments.
• Proven experience leading projects from inception through delivery, including scope definition, planning, execution, and closure.
• Deep understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and modern software development practices.
• Exceptional communication and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to articulate vision, strategy, and requirements clearly to engineering teams and business partners.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities.
• Comfortable operating in a complex, hybrid, and fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience supporting B2B product teams in large, enterprise organizations.
• Prior experience presenting delivery status and outcomes to executive leadership.
• Onsite 4 days per week; subject to change.
