VMware Administrator

1. Windows Server Infrastructure Management

• Lead administration and support of Windows Server environments (2012/2016/2019/2022)
• Ensure high availability and performance tuning of Windows environments
• Manage and support VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter
• Perform cluster management, HA, DRS, and storage optimization
• Lead VM provisioning, decommissioning, and lifecycle management
• Troubleshoot performance issues at hypervisor, VM, and storage levels

• Own enterprise patching lifecycle for Windows OS and VMware stack
• Ensure monthly patch cycles, emergency patching, and rollback plans

• VMware upgrades (ESXi, vCenter, tools, hardware versions)

• Lead infrastructure migrations such as:
• Physical to Virtual (P2V)
• Virtual to Virtual (V2V)
• On-prem to Cloud (Azure/AWS/Hybrid)

• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual effort and errors

• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for major incidents
• Ensure adherence to SLAs, MTTR targets, and uptime goals
• Participate in on-call and escalations as L3 support

• Ensure compliance with:
• ITIL processes
• Audit and regulatory requirements

• Share relevant profiles with hands‑on L3 experience in the above technologies
• Candidates should be comfortable with client‑facing roles and onsite engagement
• Preference for immediate joiners or short notice period

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance‑based bonuses subject to HCL policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to HCL policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program;
