Muzom Transportation, Inc. is seeking a highly specialized Business Intelligence Analyst with advanced expertise in data science, business intelligence, and analytics. This role is critical to the strategic growth and operational efficiency of our logistics and transportation services.

• Advanced Data Analysis and Reporting (30%):
  Utilize advanced analytical tools such as SQL, R, and Tableau to gather, process, and analyze large datasets from various sources within the logistics and transportation domain. Develop and maintain business intelligence dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to senior management. Conduct trend analysis and forecasting to inform strategic planning and operational improvements, particularly for flatbed logistical transportation and refrigerated/temperature‑controlled trucking services.
• Comprehensive Financial Analysis and Budgeting (25%):
  Perform financial modeling and cost‑benefit analysis to evaluate the financial impact of various logistics strategies and operational decisions, specifically related to the expansion into flatbed and refrigerated transportation services. Provide recommendations for cost reduction and efficiency improvements based on thorough financial analysis.
• Optimization of Logistics Processes (20%):
  Analyze and optimize service routes and AI‑powered automation logistics processes to reduce costs and improve delivery efficiency, with a focus on the new flatbed and refrigerated transportation services. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement process improvements and innovative logistics solutions.
• Development and Implementation of Risk Management Models (15%):
  Develop and implement risk management models to identify and mitigate operational risks within the logistics and transportation network, particularly in the new flatbed and refrigerated/temperature‑controlled trucking services. Conduct stress tests and scenario analysis to prepare for potential disruptions and ensure business continuity.
• Strategic Data Integration and Actionable Insights (10%):
  Provide strategic recommendations to senior management based on thorough analysis of Transportation Management Systems (TMS) data and logistics market trends, supporting the integration of flatbed and refrigerated transportation services. Support the development and implementation of TMS and ensure that these strategies align with Muzom Transportation’s 2024‑2025 Strategic Operational Objectives.

• A Bachelor's degree or its equivalent in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline. A Master's degree in these fields is highly preferred.
• Proven expertise in data science and analytics.
• Strong background in financial modeling, logistics optimization, and risk management.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Proficiency in SQL, R, Tableau, and other relevant analytical tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data and insights clearly and effectively to senior management.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities in managing projects and leading teams to successful outcomes.
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and continuously improve analytical methodologies and tools.
