IT Project Manager, Scrum Master
Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Master in Orlando, FL.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery efforts for complex, data-driven initiatives. This role requires a servant leader who can guide Agile teams, remove delivery blockers, foster accountability, and drive successful execution across cross-functional stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Agile Leadership:
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Coach teams on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement
- Partner with Product Owners to refine, split, and prioritize user stories
- Guide teams toward self-organization and increased Agile maturity
- Remove impediments and proactively address delivery risks and blockers
- Lead cross-functional teams and coordinate dependencies across multiple work streams
- Drive accountability, ownership, and transparency throughout the delivery lifecycle
- Partner with stakeholders to align priorities, manage risks, and communicate progress
- Ensure Agile management tools and team metrics accurately reflect current status
- Support release planning, estimation, and delivery forecasting activities
- Support initiatives involving large-scale data environments and enterprise data programs
- Facilitate teams working on data migration, data integration, data warehousing, and analytics initiatives
- Experience working with Snowflake and modern cloud data platforms
- Remove technical and operational blockers impacting data-related projects
- Provide visibility into team performance, sprint outcomes, and delivery metrics
- Foster collaboration across business and technology teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- 5-7+ years of Agile/Scrum experience, including at least 2 years as a Scrum Master
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
- Experience leading Agile teams in enterprise environments
- Proven experience supporting projects involving:
Large data sets;
Data migration initiatives;
Data warehousing and analytics platforms;
Snowflake environments - Experience removing project blockers, managing dependencies, and driving delivery execution
- Experience with CI/CD and Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Expertise in Agile estimation, release planning, retrospectives, and team coaching
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies
- Strong communication, facilitation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence teams and stakeholders without direct authority
- SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (SASM)
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)
- PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
- Certified SAFe Agilist (SA)
- Experience supporting enterprise data modernization or cloud transformation programs
- Servant leader with a proactive, hands-on approach
- Strong problem-solving and facilitation skills
- Comfortable navigating complex data-driven environments
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of leading through influence and collaboration
- Proven ability to drive execution, remove roadblocks, and keep teams focused on delivering value
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
