Data & Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Data & Cloud Engineer to design, develop, modernize, and support enterprise-scale data platforms and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle PL/SQL development, Azure Cloud services, and Microsoft Fabric, with experience in data integration, data warehousing, analytics, and cloud transformation initiatives. This role will be responsible for migrating, optimizing, and managing data pipelines while ensuring scalability, security, performance, and reliability across the enterprise data ecosystem.

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Oracle PL/SQL programs, packages, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and performance tuning solutions.
• Analyze existing database solutions and recommend modernization opportunities leveraging Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for large-scale data movement and transformation.
• Build and support enterprise data warehouse and data lake solutions.
• Perform data modeling, data quality management, and metadata management activities.

• Design and implement Microsoft Fabric solutions including:
  • Fabric Data Factory
  • Lakehouse
  • Data Warehouse
  • One Lake
  • Notebooks
  • Real-Time Analytics
  • Semantic Models
  • Power BI Integration
• Develop data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Fabric.
• Optimize Fabric workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Implement end-to-end analytics solutions within the Fabric ecosystem.

• Design and implement cloud-native data solutions using Azure services.
• Develop solutions utilizing:
  • Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
  • Azure SQL Database
  • Azure Synapse Analytics
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Key Vault
  • Azure Monitor
  • Azure Dev Ops
• Support cloud migration initiatives from on-premises Oracle environments to Azure/Fabric platforms.
• Ensure cloud architecture aligns with security, governance, and compliance standards.

• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops best practices.
• Ensure data security, governance, and regulatory compliance.
• Participate in architecture reviews and technology roadmap planning.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Database Development, or Data Warehousing.
• 5+ years of hands-on Oracle PL/SQL development experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Azure Data Platform services.
• 2+ years of experience with Microsoft Fabric implementation and administration.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale reporting and analytics environments.
