Cloud Migration Specialist

The Cloud Migration specialists provide hands-on technical support for assessing, architecting, and migrating diverse web/database platforms from client hosted environments to AWS, Azure and other hosted infrastructure platforms. They work closely with customers and internal teams to analyze and balance re-platforming, reengineering, and 'as is' migration approaches through Professional Service consultation and project delivery.

Position Requirements :
Experience in building, configuring, and managing solutions in multi-tenant enterprise environments.

Experience with automation tools, scripting and networking. Proficient with terraform, git and AWS services cloud formation, ECS, ec2, s3, cloud watch, lambda, redshift, rds, elastic cache, systems-manager. Knowledge on dns, load balancers and network components to assist with Fault Tolerant deployments. Working knowledge in the CI/CD space, assistance in building out and refining current development pipelines. (Jenkins a plus) Development of monitoring and configuration management scripts.

Assist in Development of automated regression tests, continuous integration. Operations around existing Infra Provisioning (terraform/cloud formation), support admin tasks such as creating manual

Languages:

Ruby, bash/shell, Familiar with Immutable infrastructure concepts, Working knowledge of Containers, ECS/EKS/Fargate AWS services a plus. Else Docker, packer, RUNDECK etc.
