Summary
The Technical Products Analyst’s plays a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making by designing, maintaining, and optimizing analytical tools, databases, and applications. This role combines strong technical expertise in SQL, Excel, and database management with analytical problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration to support product operations and enhance system performance. Requirements include Design, develop, and maintain complex Excel models used for payment calculations, ensure accuracy, scalability, and efficiency of all analytical models and reporting tools, manage SQL database objects, and maintain Microsoft Access databases.
Required qualifications include Strong proficiency in SQL (queries, stored procedures, performance tuning), Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas and VBA Experience with Microsoft Access and relational databases. Preferred qualifications include Familiarity with performance optimization techniques in SQL and data modeling and working knowledge of data integration and reporting tools.
- The primary responsibility of this role is to investigate reported issues, work with users to understand the problem, and document requirements for a potential solution. The individual must be able to understand how the application processes and utilizes data, identify the root cause of the issue, and determine whether the resolution requires a data correction, a code fix, or a system enhancement.
Based on the findings, the role is responsible for documenting requirements and creating the appropriate work requests to ensure the issue is addressed by the appropriate team.
- Understand product capabilities (future and current state); determine product or system design and change requirements to help drive the business or clinical unit’s targeted outcomes.
- Assist with implementation of a product solution or solutions within a group of specific clinical or business applications or technologies based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities and business requirements.
- Manage the architecture for a scope of products, working closely with business and clinical architects that manage and design architecture for a single project or initiative.
- Provide consulting support to business or clinical architects within projects to ensure the project is aligned with the overall enterprise architecture.
