Sr. Data Analyst

Versant Media seeks a Senior Data Analyst to join the AI, Modeling, and Strategy (AIMS) team in Orlando. This hybrid role focuses on sustaining and enhancing data products while building scalable analytics and AI capabilities that drive measurable value for internal stakeholders and external partners. The candidate collaborates across finance, product, pricing, marketing, and data services to translate business questions into robust analytical solutions.

• Design and operationalize advanced algorithms and automated analytical pipelines, covering clustering methods (k-means, hierarchical, DBSCAN, HDBSCAN), supervised learning (linear and logistic regression, decision trees, random forests, gradient boosting, XGBoost), time-series forecasting (ARIMA, Prophet, LSTM), optimization techniques, and probabilistic modeling for large, complex, and unstructured data.
• Develop, refine, validate, and deploy scalable analytical and statistical models to produce actionable insights for key stakeholders.
• Partner with finance, product, pricing, marketing, and data services to translate business questions into analytical solutions, product ionize models using MLOps best practices, and support monitoring and maintenance of data products and models.
• Cleanse, integrate, and validate data from multiple internal and external sources, applying data quality controls, feature engineering, and scalable transformation processes to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis.
• Evaluate model performance with appropriate metrics, diagnose anomalies and drift, conduct A/B testing and experiments, and define and monitor KPIs that support revenue, pricing, and growth initiatives.
• Leverage modern AI and Generative AI technologies, including large language models and AI-assisted analytics tools, to streamline workflows, automate insight generation, and enhance decision-support capabilities.
• Communicate analytical findings, model assumptions, and business implications to senior leadership, cross-functional teams, and external clients through clear presentations, visualizations, and documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, data science, or a related analytical role.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python and/or R.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with Git Hub for version control, collaborative development, code reviews, CI/CD workflows, and managing analytics and machine learning codebases.
