Orlando International Airport (MCO), Orlando, FL

Working as part of a larger team, the Junior IT Systems Specialist will provide technical assistance to users of personal computers, networks, servers, portable devices, and peripheral devices including maintaining and troubleshooting operations and communications hardware and applications and/or system software and peripheral devices in a predominantly Microsoft Windows environment with minor Apple OSX and iOS requirements.

This is a full time, salaried, non-exempt position and requires on-site shift work. Schedule consists of 8-hour shifts, five days a week, as part of a 24x7 rotational coverage (overnights included).

• College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and/or 2 years equivalent work experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Windows and Windows based software.
• Thorough knowledge of computer hardware diagnostics and repair required.
• Proven experience in supporting Local Area Networks (LAN), servers, switches, and networking equipment.
• Proven experience with installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of system hardware, software, desktop support, and printers or equivalent systems and hardware.
• Experience and proficiency with the following applications and devices:
  Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook including calendaring, contacts, PST files, rules wizard and delegate rights, Adobe, Smartphone devices, VPN, Network Printers (HP).
• Understanding and working knowledge of TCP/IP and Multicast technologies.
• Working knowledge and understanding of Active Directory.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to carry tools, test equipment and replacement equipment (up to 50lbs) independently and unaided.
• A+, Net+, MCP, MCSE or relevant certifications are preferred.
