Our Activations team is responsible for activating technology and marketing solutions for our Cinemas Partner to successfully run their businesses. This role performs a large variety of tasks, acting as both an industry and technology consultant in providing elite service. Job Duties
- Lead end-to-end Fandango1 activations for cinemas partners, from kickoff planning and system setup through go-live and stabilization.
- Serve as a trusted technology and operations consultant to cinema owners, general managers, box office, concessions, and finance teams.
- Deliver engaging virtual training on ticketing, reserved seating, point of sale, concessions, inventory, memberships, reporting, and cash-close workflows.
- Gather, validate, and document activation requirements, including operational workflows, pricing, seating, concession offerings, and reporting needs.
- Coordinate the setup of Fandango1 software, connected hardware, and approved third‑party integrations to support a successful launch.
- Provide hands‑on support for hardware installation, peripheral setup, and basic network or device troubleshooting when needed.
- Assist partners with data migration, configuration updates, and testing to ensure a smooth transition to Fandango
1. - Manage multiple overlapping cinema activation projects while meeting committed timelines and maintaining a high‑quality partner experience.
- Maintain proactive, professional communication with cinema partners throughout all pre‑go‑live, go‑live, and post‑go‑live activities.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, Engineering, Payments, and Support to remove roadblocks and deliver a seamless activation experience.
- Escalate risks and issues to leadership and internal stakeholders, helping drive timely resolution and follow‑through.
- Document project details, configuration decisions, training outcomes, and next steps in Salesforce and other required systems.
- Identify recurring partner needs and recommend product, process, documentation, or training improvements; provide post‑go‑live stabilization support and practical demonstrations that drive Fandango1 adoption and retention.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Basic Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant experience, preferably with a technology organization
- Experience using Microsoft applications (e.g. Windows, Office, Excel, Teams)
- Strong background in customer service type settings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to convey concepts and software functionality to an audience
- High energy and engaging personality with patience for all levels of technology users
Desired Characteristics
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience in cinema operations, ticketing, concessions, retail, food and beverage, or accounting
- Proficiency using Microsoft applications including Windows Server, SQL Server, Windows Workstation, and Microsoft Office products
- Previous experience with Salesforce and Jira
- Working knowledge of basic network troubleshooting skills
- Advanced problem solving, communication, and analytical skills
Additional Requirements
- Must be based in Orlando, FL
- This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed during critical projects.
- Ability to be “on-call” during major implementations.
- Occasional travel may be required
