Liability Claims Specialist

We are partnering with a global insurance business seeking an experienced Liability Claims Specialist to analyze claims exposures, determine appropriate actions, and settle claims efficiently. This role involves evaluating evidence, interpreting facts within legal frameworks, and determining liability and claim values across auto, property, and general liability lines.

• Work Arrangement:
  Fully Remote (Applicants must reside in Florida)
• Employment Type:
  
  Permanent, W-2
• Compensation: $60,000 annually + comprehensive benefits package
• Schedule:
  
  Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve first- and third-party auto and property liability claims.
• Assess coverage, determine liability, and negotiate settlements within authority.
• Communicate with claimants, insureds, and other involved parties.
• Maintain accurate documentation, reserves, and payment records.
• Identify subrogation opportunities and notify responsible parties.
• Prepare claim status reports and participate in client reviews.
• Stay current on relevant laws and maintain active licensure.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year of experience handling liability and property damage claims.
• 1+ year of office experience.
• Active Florida All-Lines Adjuster License (5-20 or 6-20).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
• Proficient in claims systems and Microsoft Office.
