A respected, community-focused insurance agency is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Commercial Lines team. This role supports new business, renewals, and daily client service while ensuring accurate policy management. If you are organized, client-focused, and experienced in insurance, we want to hear from you!
What You’ll Do- Manage incoming commercial insurance leads
- Gather underwriting info and required documents
- Prepare applications, proposals, and quote requests
- Respond to client calls and emails
- Process endorsements and policy changes
- Issue Certificates of Insurance (COIs)
- Assist with billing questions and basic claims support
- Collect renewal documents
- Update applications for remarketing
- Schedule renewal review meetings
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system
- Ensure meet compliance standards
- 1-2+ years of insurance experience (Commercial Lines preferred)
- Active 4-40 or 2-20 license (or willing to obtain)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Experience with COIs, endorsements, and carrier communication
- Familiarity with systems like Nexsure (or similar)
- Commercial Lines experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Knowledge of GL, WC, BOP, Property, Auto, and Umbrella.
