We are seeking an experienced Commercial / Business Litigation Legal Assistant to join a fast-paced legal team in Orlando. This is a fully onsite position supporting attorneys handling complex commercial and business litigation matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple deadlines in a litigation environment.
Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day support to attorneys handling commercial and business litigation matters
- Draft, format, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
- Manage case calendars, deadlines, and court filings (state and federal)
- Assist with discovery responses, document production, and trial preparation
- Maintain and organize electronic and physical case files
- Coordinate with courts, clients, and opposing counsel
- Handle administrative and litigation support tasks as needed
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a legal assistant supporting commercial and/or business litigation
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures and court rules
- Excellent organizational, time‑management, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, onsite environment
