Legal Assistant – Civil Litigation

Location: Downtown Orlando on site - Parking provided and paid by the firm

Compensation: $50,000 – $60,000 annually, based on experience

An AV‑rated, mid‑sized civil litigation firm in downtown Orlando is seeking a full‑time Legal Assistant to support its litigation team. Candidates with plaintiff or defense experience will be considered, though strong defense‑side litigation skills are preferred.

• Support attorneys in all phases of civil litigation
• E‑filing in state and federal courts
• Scheduling hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials
• Calendaring deadlines and maintaining litigation calendars
• Time slipping/billing support
• Drafting, proofreading, and formatting legal documents
• General litigation administrative support

• Prior litigation legal assistant experience required
• Experience on the plaintiff or defense side (defense preferred)
• Strong knowledge of court e‑filing systems
• Excellent typing, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
• Professional demeanor and strong communication skills
