A well-established, AV-rated Central Florida law firm is looking to welcome a seasoned Insurance Defense Attorney to join its growing Orlando office.
Due to continued expansion and increased client demand, the firm is looking to add a skilled litigator with strong insurance defense experience who is ready to take on meaningful responsibility and play a key role in the continued growth of the practice.
This role offers the chance to handle sophisticated insurance defense matters in a collaborative, trial-focused environment. The incoming attorney will manage cases from inception through resolution and work closely with firm leadership on strategy and client development.
Responsibilities- Manage a full caseload of insurance defense matters independently
- Handle general liability, premises liability, bodily injury, transportation and related claims
- Draft and argue dispositive motions, conduct and defend depositions, manage written discovery and case strategy, attend mediations, settlement conferences, and court hearings
- Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings
- Maintain strong client communication and reporting
- Florida Bar admission in good standing
- 5+ years of insurance defense litigation experience
- Strong knowledge and understanding across general liability, premises liability, personal injury
- Strong deposition and motion practice experience
- Comfortable managing files with minimal supervision
- Trial experience preferred
- Excellent written and oral advocacy skills
