Paralegal

Overview

We have an immediate opening for an experienced full-time paralegal for our insurance defense team. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment, and have a minimum of 3 years of insurance defense litigation experience.

• Draft pleadings, discovery documents, appraisal award letters, and initial responses to CRN’s.
• Conduct legal research and investigation as needed.
• Prepare email(s) to experts with claim‑related documents, comparative estimate assignments, and appraiser assignments.
• Prepare and organize hearing materials and deposition binders.
• Calendaring deadlines.
• Schedule inspections.
• Send and submit final CRN responses.
• Communicate orally and in writing with clients, judicial assistants, experts, and internal team members.

• Demonstrated ability to work with deadlines.
• Ability to manage and reprioritize work daily.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Time management and deadline‑oriented mindset.
