Job SummaryManage property and asset management for the Mission Data Management Operating Unit within the Weapons Integration & Mission Solution Business Unit.
Responsibilities- Ensures compliance of the property management business system with strong working knowledge of FAR 52.245-1, DFARS Part 245, DFARS & 7005
- Review and update property records in property database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Occasional irregular hours and travel may be required for the role.
- Additional tasks/assignments may be given to assist other team members, as necessary.
- Provide technical, tactical, and execution support in various aspects of industry standard supply chain business process areas, primarily supply chain production and supply chain logistics, as well as supply chain business operations.
- Assist with managing the shipping and receipt of goods, including opening packages, verifying quantities, and confirming accurate item delivery.
- Must be a self‑starter with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage concurrent projects and timelines.
- Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Be able to handle stress effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Develop property proposals and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams throughout the proposal process.
- Work with functional management teams within the business unit and sector to problem‑solve, improve process efficiencies, and develop innovative solutions for the division.
- Provide management oversight and support to the property management team in support of the Mission Data Management contracts.
- Oversee the management, training, and professional development of interns and staff working for the property management team.
- Oversee and manage property functions and operations for the Mission Data Management; attend and support cross‑functional management meetings, program support meetings as applicable.
- Oversee the Mission Data Management physical inventory program for assets.
- Perform data analysis to mitigate asset business system risk, identify opportunities for improvement and plan for resource requirements.
- Support customer audits, company audits, internal contractor self‑assessments as required.
- Oversee the management of company‑owned capital assets for Mission Data Management OU.
- Oversee the subcontractor surveillance process.
- 10% Travel Requirement to meet business needs.
- Minimum 12 years of Property and Asset Management experience and a High School diploma. A minimum of 8 years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 6 years of experience with a master’s degree may also be considered.
- US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top Secret, etc.).
- Experience with Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and/or PowerPoint.
- Ability to lift greater than 50 lbs.
- Ability to work hours as necessary to meet business objectives; may include working over 40 hours per week.
- Valid United States Driver License in good standard.
- Possesses strong leadership and communication skills, ability to counsel, coach, develop, and motivate staff of professionals and salary personnel.
- Ability to work with diverse levels of internal/external customers, i.e., DCMA, Prime Contractors, DoD personnel.
- Experience with FAR 52.245-1, 45, and DFARS 245.6, , 7005, and other applicable FAR, DFARS, DoD regulations.
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems (Systems Applications Processes (SAP) knowledge and skills) highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain logistics principles, inventory management techniques, and material planning strategies.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data‑driven decisions.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with all levels of management, individual contributors and customers.
