Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Buyer for a temporary opportunity supporting a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, and ensuring production teams have the resources needed to meet operational goals. The ideal candidate has strong procurement experience, ERP system knowledge, and excellent analytical skills.

• Source and purchase raw materials, components, and production supplies from approved vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, delivery schedules, and payment terms to support cost-saving initiatives.
• Create and manage purchase orders while maintaining appropriate inventory levels.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality standards, lead times, and on-time delivery metrics.
• Partner with production, engineering, and quality teams to align purchasing activities with manufacturing schedules.
• Analyze market trends, supplier data, and purchasing reports to support strategic procurement decisions.
• Resolve issues involving shortages, delays, or non-conforming materials.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• 5+ years of purchasing, procurement, or buyer experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of supply chain, inventory control, and production planning processes.
• Experience using ERP or MRP systems;
  Epicor experience is a plus.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong negotiation, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
