We are seeking to find a seasoned purchasing agent for structural steel and metal building components. We are ready to hire the right candidate. The average number of years our employees have been with us is over 20 years. Our company has been in business since the early 1980s.
Responsibilities
- Procure structural steel and metal building materials in a cost-effective and timely manner
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, pricing, and delivery performance
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure consistent supply chain operations
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to align purchasing with project requirements
- Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing needs
- Ensure compliance with company policies
