As a valued member of the Guardian Professional Services Team, you will provide a safe and clean environment to various airline passengers. We are seeking a motivated, friendly team member who will perform general cleaning duties in designated areas as needed.

• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing machines.
• Uses ladders to dust and wash walls and ceilings; dusts and polishes light fixtures.
• Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas.
• Removes stains from surfaces such as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Performs incidental seasonal tasks such as sweeping, vacuming, mopping, and scrubbing floors.
• Dusts and washes walls, windows, ledges; removes trash; performs heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Moves boxes, furniture, and grates to clean areas; applies and removes protective applications to walls, floors, and equipment.
• General restroom cleaning, including toilets, urinals, floors, and sinks.
• Carpeted Areas:
  • Empty waste baskets and replace liners.
  • Dust/clean tops of office furniture.
  • Vacuum all carpeting.
  • Spot clean soiled areas on carpets as needed.
  • Sweep and mop tile areas.
  • Wipe/clean vending machines and appliances.
  • Clean sink and counter areas.
• Non‑Carpeted Areas:
  • Empty waste baskets and replace liners as needed.
  • Sweep and spot mop tile floors.
  • Dust/clean cleared desks and surfaces of tables.
  • Keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly.
  • Maintain equipment (such as vacuums) properly at all times.

• Working experience of basic janitorial duties and responsibilities is a must.
• Good listening and verbal communication skills.
• Must have the ability to speak English and Spanish.
• Maintain a neat appearance; uniform required at worksites.
• Attend periodic training and safety meetings.
• Understand and anticipate the needs of the clients.
• Be punctual.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping and building janitorial work needed.
