The Rehabilitation Center of Orlando is seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team in Orlando, Florida. This role supports the Maintenance Director in ensuring the facility remains safe, clean, and well‑maintained for residents, staff, and visitors.

• Assist and follow direction from the Maintenance Director in daily operations.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on handrails, windows, walls, ceilings, flooring, and other facility components.
• Assist with maintenance of HVAC systems, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems.
• Maintain the building and grounds to ensure a clean, safe, and orderly environment.
• Assume supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the Maintenance Director, as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and families, fostering a welcoming and supportive environment.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare or similar environment.
• Ability to work independently while following direction and feedback.
• Knowledge of basic repairs and general facility maintenance.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new maintenance procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions related to maintenance and safety protocols.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, sanitation, and organization.
