The janitor is responsible for cleaning buildings, removing debris, and keeping areas neat and tidy. Duties include vacuuming, buffing floors, shampooing carpets, emptying trash receptacles, and replacing lining of trash cans. Hourly Rate: $14.00/hr.

• Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning, etc.).
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities.
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.
• Notify management of deficiencies or needs for repairs.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs.
• Stock and maintain supply rooms.
• Cooperate with the rest of the staff.
• Committed to upholding safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.

• Observes safety and security procedures and complies with policies.
• Reads and interprets written information; writes clear statements; communicates orally.
• Able to perform physical work and operate power equipment normally found in janitorial operations.
• Attention to detail.
• Follows schedules and keeps commitments.
• Follows directions from a supervisor.
• Demonstrates professionalism.
• Manages time efficiently and works individually as well as within a team.

• Excellent communication skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Work varied shifts to include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
