Maintenance Associate

# Maintenance AssociateUSD 18.00 Hourly|Cocoa Beach, FL, United States Full Time Ron Jon Surf Shop Cocoa Beach is seeking a full time maintenance associate to join our maintenance team. Job includes a variety of responsibilities that require urgency, safety and teamwork. Strong customer service skills are required, along with daily upkeep of interior and exterior grounds. Must be able to operate basic building maintenance equipment and tools, follow deadlines and comply with safety throughout the grounds.

You must pass a pre-employment drug screening, background check and drivers check.

Starting pay is $18 per hour. Position is full time/ non-exempt, 40 hours per week. The shift hours will be discussed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

* Maintain store cleanliness and janitorial needs.
* Stock and replenish register supplies and cleaning supplies.
* Perform trash removal and disposal.
* Complete power washing and painting projects as needed.
* Handle minor carpentry work, including preparing surfaces for painting, hanging items on walls, replacing door locks and handles, and building fixtures.
* Complete minor electrical maintenance, including replacing light bulbs, ballasts, and fixtures.
* Perform minor plumbing maintenance, including unclogging drains.
* Assist with special projects as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

* Work on lifts at heights up to 60 feet.
* Lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs.
* Work in outdoor conditions daily.
* Reach, carry, bend and climb ladders occasionally.

Minimum

Job Requirements
* 18 years or older.
* Must have current/valid driver's license.
* High lift experience is a plus but not required.
* Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
* Maintain a safe work environment and follow proper safety procedures.
* Strong multitasking skills with the ability to work efficiently.
* Able to work flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
